Hiring HVAC Service Technician/Installer

Lakewood Heating & Cooling is looking for an experienced service

technician to start part-time, with option to grow into a full-time position. We are a small, local business offering residential service and installations, along with do-it-yourself opportunity for customers. We are very focused on high quality customer service and would like to grow our team to better serve the community.

Position will require high-level competency of residential HVAC systems, with little to no supervision needed. Pay is highly competitive and will be based on your expertise level in the field and with customers.

Job Responsibilities

• Travel to homes for service, install, or project quotes as scheduled

• Determine customer needs and discuss solutions

• Install new heating, cooling, and ventilation systems

• Inspect current HVAC systems for effectiveness and safety

• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC systems to increase longevity

• Troubleshoot current HVAC system issues

• Repair damaged HVAC systems

• Use Housecall Pro app for schedule, estimates, invoicing, and time tracking

• Company vehicle will be provided, having your own tools is a big plus

Experience Needed

• High-level journeyman experience, management experience a plus

• Certification through the EPA to handle refrigerants required

• Certification or associate’s degree from an HVAC program at a technical school required

• Strong verbal communication skills, ability to explain HVAC issues with customers in a way they understand

• Critical-thinker, problem-solver

• State driver’s license required

• Must be punctual and adhere to schedule

• Ability to use service management software & follow processes (Housecall Pro)
